Bitcoin Jet

Before Bitcoin made grabbed the word's attention in late 2017, Mark Hale was working to raise awareness about the digital currency. An early adopter of Bitcoin, Hale says he is "a Bitcoin evangelist." He decided to brand his L-39 Albatros with the currency’s logo.

Hale and Paul “Sticky” Strickland, a former Thunderbird pilot, took the jet to air shows, sharing their message about Bitcoin and performing for crowds.

Patriots Jet Team Foundation Ground School

The Patriots Jet Team Foundation is a non-profit organization that encourages youth to explore careers in aerospace. They have offered many programs at their hangar and instruction facility in Byron, California (C83). With the pilot shortage only getting worse, the work that PJTF and other groups are doing to get young people interested in aviation is crucial.

Sean is now a commercial pilot flying PC-12s.
